Matt Stiles

Matt Stiles is the senior data visualization reporter for Grid, where he uses advanced investigative and analysis skills to break news and enrich the organization’s coverage. Matt was formerly senior reporter for the Los Angeles Times. He has covered economics for the Wall Street Journal, and led NPR’s data reporting efforts. Matt covered government, politics and law enforcement at the Dallas Morning News and the Houston Chronicle, and was the founding news applications editor at the Austin-based Texas Tribune.
