Philippe Kirschen

Philippe Kirschen is an experienced optimization engineer currently with Gridmatic since June 2022. With a background in system optimization, Philippe held multiple roles at Hyperloop One from June 2016 to February 2022, including Manager of System Optimization and Optimization Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as Team Captain for the MIT Hyperloop Team and a Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from September 2014 to June 2016. Philippe's internship experiences encompass roles at NASA Ames Research Center within the Advanced Supercomputing and Aviation Systems Divisions, as well as engineering internships at Triumph Aerospace Group LLC. Philippe earned a Master of Science in Aeronautics from MIT and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a minor in Economics from the University of Michigan.
