Darren Cruickshank

Darren Cruickshank has extensive work experience in the finance and energy sectors. Darren is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at GRIDSERVE Sustainable Energy Limited, where they are leading a team in delivering sustainable energy solutions and raising funding for the UK's electric vehicle charging network. Prior to this, they held the same role at UNITECH Energy Group from 2019 to 2020. Before that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Adenium Energy Capital, where they successfully led utility-scale renewable energy projects and improved the company's balance sheet. Darren also served as the Finance Director in the Middle East & Africa region at ASCO Group, managing oilfield support services and securing significant contracts. Earlier in their career, they held positions at GE, Helix Energy Solutions Group, Halliburton, and Schlumberger, where they demonstrated expertise in finance, accounting, and overseeing assets of global value.

Darren Cruickshank has a High School Diploma from Robert Gordon's College. Darren holds a Master of Science degree in International Corporate Finance from The University of Salford. Darren also has a degree in Mergers & Acquisitions from Columbia Business School and is a certified member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA CGMA) with a focus on Accounting, Finance, and Strategy. Darren's education also includes Digital Transformation Strategies at the University of Cambridge.
