Rob Stapleton is an experienced GIS professional with extensive expertise in managing and delivering GIS and data projects, particularly in the water industry. Currently serving as GIS Manager at GRIDSERVE since January 2019, Rob previously held multiple roles at WRc plc, including Service Delivery Lead, Senior Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, and GIS Developer, overseeing various technical projects and services related to pipeline and leak detection. Rob's earlier experience includes roles at Carlisle City Council and SpatialInfo, contributing to Public Sector and Telecommunications projects, software development, and the implementation of GIS systems. Rob holds a BSc (Hons) in Geographical Information Systems from Kingston University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies from the University of Cumbria.
