Robyn Dawson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Robyn has recently been an Operations Manager at GRIDSIGHT, where they focus on decarbonizing the grid through data analytics. Prior to that, they worked at the University of Wollongong as a Business Development Officer, bridging the gap between research and industry. Robyn also held the position of Admin Manager at the Sustainable Buildings Research Centre, where they collaborated with industry to create sustainable buildings. Additionally, Robyn had a secondment as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator at the Innovation Campus, promoting research and industry collaborations. Robyn also worked with Team UOW Australia as an Events Manager, contributing to sustainable design projects. Earlier in their career, Robyn held administrative roles at the University of Wollongong's Sustainable Buildings Research Centre and Faculty of Business. Robyn started their professional journey as an Assistant Events & Venues Manager at UniCentre, enhancing the student experience.

Robyn Dawson's education history begins with their enrollment at West Wollongong TAFE in 2008, where they obtained a Certificate IV in Frontline Management and Certificate IV in Business Management by 2009. In 2010, Robyn attended the University of Wollongong and completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Event Management, which lasted until 2017. During their time at the University of Wollongong, they also pursued a Diploma in Event Management at Wollongong TAFE from 2010 to 2012.

In 2021, Robyn joined the Sydney Business School at the University of Wollongong for the Leadership Illawarra Program - Regional Development Australia, focusing on Business Administration and Management in a general context. Robyn successfully completed this program in 2022.

In addition to their educational background, Robyn has obtained several certifications. In July 2021, they earned the Membership and Ongoing Professional Development certification from the Institute of Community Directors Australia (ICDA). Later in November 2022, they obtained the Pitch Light certification from iAccelerate. Robyn'smost recent certification, titled "A Gentle Introduction to Tools and Systems for AI, ML, and DL," was obtained from the Centre for Artificial Intelligence (CAI), which is a part of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences (EIS) at the University of Wollongong, in February 2023.
