Alex Dinkel

Alex Dinkel has worked in the electric utility sector since 2007. In 2007, they were an Electrical Engineering Co-op at the Naval Sea Systems Command. In 2008, they were a Dispatch (Control Center) Co-op at PJM Interconnection, LLC. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at PHI, where they were a Senior Engineer and Technical Expert on a distributed generation grid integration team. Alex was also involved in implementing faster renewable application processes and faster and more accurate interconnection application screening procedures. From 2014 to present, they have been at GridUnity, where they are a Product Manager for a set of innovative planning & analytics software solutions. Alex also created and sold an advanced grid analytics solution to assist renewable energy generation project developers select grid connection locations.

Alex Dinkel obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering, with a Concentration in Power, from Drexel University in 2010. Alex then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MS) in Power Engineering from Drexel University in 2014. In October 2014, Alex obtained a Professional Engineering License from the Delaware Association of Professional Engineers.
