Jim Byrd

Jim Byrd has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Director of Manufacturing for Aseptic Filling at Grifols since April 2011, with previous roles including Associate Director, Manufacturing Manager, Senior Manufacturing Supervisor, Senior Technical Document Specialist, and General Manufacturing Supervisor. In this role, Jim Byrd supervises a team of 12 in the Purification department. Prior to Grifols, Jim Byrd worked at Talecris Biotherapeutics, Inc. from March 2003 to June 2011, where responsibilities included General Manufacturing Supervisor in aseptic processing areas and Aseptic Filling Coordinator, managing teams of up to 26 members. Jim Byrd holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from the University of Mount Olive, earned between 2011 and 2015.
