Eric McErlain

Eric McErlain has had a varied career in communications and strategic partnerships. Eric is currently the Director of External Affairs at GRIID since March 2022. Prior to that, they held several roles at the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) from 2011 to 2022, including Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships and Senior Director of Communications. In these roles, they focused on creating value for NEI's members and promoting nuclear energy through advertising, market expansion, and relationship building. Before joining NEI, Eric worked as Vice President at CounterPoint Strategies, a media relations agency, from 2008 to 2011. Eric also had roles at GXS, PSINet, and MCI, where they specialized in executive communications, editorial services, and web communications. Overall, Eric's experience spans a range of industries with a focus on strategic partnerships, communications, and digital strategy.

Eric McErlain completed their education with a Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University from 2015 to 2017. Eric also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from The Catholic University of America, which they obtained from 1985 to 1989. In addition, they obtained a certification in Cryptocurrency from GetSmarter in January 2022.
