Ivan Lian

Ivan Lian is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as Technology Advisor and CTO at Grip since October 2016, Ivan has successfully led the company from Seed to Series A funding and managed a globally distributed hybrid and remote team during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to Grip, Ivan spent nearly a decade at Yahoo!, where responsibilities included managing personalization and targeting platforms for the EMEA region and founding new Production Engineering teams in multiple cities. Ivan's earlier career includes roles at the Defence Science and Technology Agency of Singapore and Togoparts Pte Ltd, as well as a position as an Infantry Training Specialist with the Singapore Armed Forces. Ivan holds a Master of Science in Intelligent Systems from King's College London and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Leicester.
