Orel Cohen

Orel Cohen has a diverse work experience that spans from 2013 to the present. Orel is currently employed at Grip Security as a Data & Software Engineer, where they are responsible for ensuring the security of enterprise SaaS applications. Prior to this, Orel worked as a Data Engineer at Grip, where they focused on mapping data flows and enforcing security policies and preventing data loss.

Before joining Grip Security, Orel worked at QueenB, a nonprofit organization aimed at promoting women in high-tech. Orel served as the Community Manager, where they managed a community of 4000 female CS and Engineer students and juniors. Additionally, they were the Director of Jerusalem District Activities, where they managed and executed the organization's activities in Jerusalem and provided professional and personal mentoring to program instructors.

Orel's early work experience includes positions at the Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200. Orel served as a Course Instructor and was responsible for training soldiers as intelligence experts. Orel also developed and implemented a new training program. Later, they became the Head of the Intelligence and Communications Analysis Team, managing multiple teams trained in various courses. Orel's role also involved adapting unfamiliar technology to meet mission requirements and supervising operational shifts. Orel started their career as an Intelligence Analyst, where they processed, analyzed, and disseminated intelligence and worked collaboratively with technical and intelligence teams.

Orel Cohen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Cognitive and Brain Sciences from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 2018 and 2021. Following this, Orel pursued further education at the Hoffman Kofman Foundation, where they earned a degree in Leadership with a focus on Organizational Leadership. This educational journey demonstrates Orel's commitment to expanding their knowledge and skills in various fields.
