Anna Maria Galinska

Anna Maria Galinska is an Associate General Counsel at Gritstone Bio. Prior to joining Gritstone, they were a Senior Associate at Cooley LLP from August 2019 to July 2021, where they worked on mergers & acquisitions, strategic investments and other complex corporate and commercial transactions. From April 2018 to August 2019, Anna Maria was an Associate at Sidley Austin LLP, where they worked on securities, mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, asset purchases/sales and other strategic transactions. Anna also worked on equity and debt financings and ongoing legal matters (corporate, equity compensation, IP). Prior to that, they were an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP from September 2014 to March 2018, where they worked on mergers & acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, private equity and venture capital investments, dispositions, spin-offs and portfolio company management. Anna also worked on capital markets transactions, including IPOs, high-yield and investment-grade debt financings and equity offerings. Anna Maria began their legal career as an Associate at Clifford Chance from February 2011 to July 2013.

Anna Maria Galinska holds a Master of Laws from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Warsaw, and a Certification from UC San Diego in Drug Discovery. Anna participated in a Student Exchange Program in Business Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam and attended a Summer School in Commercial Law at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
