Sam Sagartz

Sam Sagartz has a diverse work experience history. Starting with Gritstone bio in 2019, Sam held various roles in the Corporate & Business Development department, including Sr. Director, Director, and Associate Director. Prior to that, Sam worked as an MBA Intern in Business Development at Gritstone bio.

In 2018, Sam worked as a Summer Analyst at Boxer Capital, Tavistock Group. The following year, Sam served as a Summer Associate at JONES DAY®.

Sam Sagartz completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion & Disease Prevention from the University of Southern California in 2014. From 2014 to 2016, Sam pursued a Master of Liberal Arts in Extension Studies with a focus on Biology at the Harvard Extension School. Sam then attended Harvard Law School from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. Simultaneously, from 2017 to 2020, Sam also pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Harvard Business School. In addition to their academic degrees, Sam obtained several certifications, including one in Recorded Understanding Commercialization Within Biopharma from Biotech Primer in 2023 and a Certified Personal Trainer qualification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2012.
