Sumit Kanungo

Sumit Kanungo has had a varied career in the media and marketing industry. Starting from 2006, they have held various positions in different companies. Sumit began their career as Vice President Media at Emami Ltd in 2006. Sumit then moved to Lintas India Pvt. Ltd in 2007 as Executive Vice President. In 2011, they joined Platinum Advertising (A Unit of Madison World) as Senior General Manager. In 2013, they took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at Madison World. In 2016, they were appointed Executive Vice President at Starcom Mediavest. In 2017, they became a Consultant- Media and Marketing for Self Employed. In 2021, they were Group Director at Havas Media Group and Group Strategy Director at Havas Group. Currently, they are Chief Agency Officer at Grivy and Senior Vice President Agency Business at Grivy Docom.

Sumit Kanungo received their MBA in Marketing from the University of Calcutta in 1989. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the same university in 1986.
