Konstantinos Vasileiou is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Head of Infrastructure at GRNET since April 2021. With a strong background in data center design, infrastructure management, and holistic security, Konstantinos has held significant roles at Information Society SA, including Head of Data Center, Infrastructure & Information Systems Support Department and Head of IT Support & Infrastructure Department from November 2001 to April 2021. Additional experience includes serving as a laboratory teacher at the Technological Institute of Piraeus, a network administrator at the West Athens Development Association, a scientific and educational advisor at the Municipal Informatics Society of Kessariani, and a researcher at the National Technical University of Athens. Konstantinos holds a Master of Business Administration in Techno-economical systems and a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, along with a degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies from the Technological Institute of Piraeus. Certifications include ISO27001 Lead Auditor and ITIL foundation.
