Marc Lajoie

Co-founder, Advisor at GRO Biosciences

Marc Lajoie has been in the biotechnology industry since 2009. Marc began their career as a Graduate Student at Harvard Medical School -- George M. Church Lab. In 2014, they were a Washington Research Foundation Innovation Postdoctoral Fellow and Cancer Research Institute Fellow at the University of Washington. In 2016, they co-founded GRO Biosciences and served as an advisor. In 2019, they co-founded Lyell Immunopharma and served as Sr. Director - Protein & Cell Engineering. In 2020, they co-founded Outpace Bio and is currently serving as Chief Executive Officer.

Marc Lajoie earned a BA in Biophysical Chemistry from Dartmouth College between 2004 and 2008. Marc then went on to Harvard University, where they obtained a Ph.D in the Chemical Biology Program from 2008 to 2013.
