Courtney Branson

Courtney Branson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Courtney is currently working as the VP of People at Grocery TV since August 2022. In addition, they are a Member at Chief, a private network focused on empowering women in positions of power since October 2022.

In 2021, Courtney worked as a Counselor at Work Healing, providing guidance and support to professionals and leadership teams. Courtney also operated their own consultancy, Courtney Branson Consulting, as a Culture Designer, collaborating with leaders in startups to build foundational practices and promote empathetic systems.

From August 2021 to July 2022, Courtney served as the Head of People at Osano, a certified B-corporation specializing in data privacy. Previously, they held multiple positions at Square Root, Inc. including VP of Culture + People, Director of Culture + People, and People Ops Manager. Courtney played a significant role in achieving accolades such as Fast Company's Best Workplaces for Innovators and Fortune's Best Companies to Work for.

Before Square Root, Courtney worked as a People + Culture Specialist at Match.com and as a Freelance Writer.

Courtney Branson obtained a B.A. degree in English and Philosophy from Texas A&M University in 2007. In addition to their undergraduate education, Courtney also holds several certifications. Courtney obtained a certification as a Counseling Practitioner from Achology in March 2021. In March 2019, they completed a certification in Language & Leadership - Human Dimensions of Organization from The University of Texas at Austin. Furthermore, Courtney obtained their SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in June 2015.
