Benito Varela

Benito Varela has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Benito is currently the COO at GROPRO, focusing on biotechnology research. Prior to this, they worked as a mentor at The Venture Mentoring Team and as the Managing Partner & CEO at Impruven LLC, where they improved company success and profitability. Benito also served as a Business Development Partner at 10EQS, leveraging technology and global talent markets. Earlier in their career, Benito held various leadership positions at Dow, including Global Project Director, General Manager Director Seeds Business Brazil, Director Developing Business Project Leader Latin America, and Human Resources Director for North Latin America. Benito demonstrated success in cultural change, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, as well as revenue growth and team management.

Benito Varela completed their Bachelor of Sciences in Agricultural Engineering at the University of Florida in 2006. Benito then pursued a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Miami. Additionally, they received a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Professional Management from the same university. Benito also obtained additional certifications, such as Certified Mentor from The Venture Mentoring Team and Great People Inside Partner from Great People Inside. In 2002, they achieved the Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification from Dow.
