Sam Hasanov

Sam Hasanov has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Sam worked as an Investment Analyst at GCM Grosvenor starting from July 2023. Previously, they worked as an Equity Research Analyst at Black Cat Research and Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank in 2022. Sam also served as the Chief Analytics Officer at Omni Breakthrough during the same year. In 2021, they were a Teaching Assistant at DePaul University and a Wealth Management Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Additionally, they were a Caddie/Bag Room staff member at Briarwood Country Club from 2014 to 2021.

Sam Hasanov has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from DePaul University. Sam also received the Keeley Scholar distinction from DePaul University. Prior to attending DePaul University, Sam completed their high school education and obtained a High School Diploma from Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, IL.

In addition to their formal education, Sam has obtained several certifications. Sam completed the Adventis FMC Level I certification from Adventis in March 2022. In April 2021, they obtained the CFA Institute Investments Foundations certification from the CFA Institute. In November 2020, Sam completed the Bloomberg Market Concept certification from Bloomberg LP. Sam also obtained the Microsoft Excel - Excel from Beginner to Advanced certification from Udemy in September 2020. In July 2020, they completed the Driehaus Summer Learning Series offered by Driehaus Capital Management LLC.
