Ian McDonnell

Ian McDonnell has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Ian started their career at Enterprise Power Services, where they served as a Commercial Manager, responsible for capital projects with major energy companies. Ian then worked at Skanska as a Senior Commercial Manager, overseeing contracts with EDF Energy and several local councils. McDonnell later joined Enterprise Managed Services Ltd as the Head of Commercial, leading the establishment of the Energy Management Business Unit and negotiating strategic partnerships. Ian continued to excel in their career at Amey, where they served as an Account Director for Water Major Projects, managing several frameworks and contracts. Following that, they worked at Serco as an Operations Director in the Justice and Immigration Division, responsible for delivering services to Asylum Seekers. McDonnell then joined Capita as an Operations Director, leading a team responsible for delivering services to NHS England. Currently, they hold the position of Operations Director at Ground Control, overseeing framework contracts for various organizations in the Utilities & Inland Waterways sector.
