Simon Mason

Simon Mason has extensive experience in the overhead line infrastructure sector, currently serving as a Contract Delivery Manager at Ground Control since March 2015, ensuring the safety and compliance of Western Power Distribution's overhead line network. Previously, Simon held the position of Senior Project Manager, conducting surveys and managing tree works related to vegetation clearance in accordance with the Electricity Act 1989. Simon has also worked as an overhead line inspector for Exact Projects Limited and other companies, where responsibilities included conducting inspections, supervising teams, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Additional experience includes production planning at Laing O’Rourke and powerline inspection at Poletecs Limited, showcasing a well-rounded background in project management and compliance within the electricity distribution field.
