David Cleland

David Cleland, GISP, PG, is an experienced professional in the fields of hydrogeology and GIS services, currently serving as the Data Management and GIS Services Manager, Senior Hydrogeologist, and GIS Services Manager at Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc. since March 2011. Prior to this role, David held the position of Hydrogeologist at Professional Service Industries, Inc. for a brief period in early 2011 and worked as Project Manager at ESP Associates, P.A. from June 2006 to December 2010. David's career began at Shield Engineering, Inc. as Lab Manager from August 2003 to August 2006. David holds a Master's Degree in Geographic Information Science and Technology from North Carolina State University, completed between 2011 and 2015, and a Bachelor's Degree in Geology/Earth Science from Appalachian State University, obtained from 1999 to 2003.
