Helena Todorov

Helena Todorov is a Data Scientist at Groupe E since August 2023, focusing on the development of techniques for efficient image processing to enhance knowledge acquisition and accelerate scientific discoveries. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position in Bioinformatics at Université de Lausanne from January 2021 to August 2023, where innovative methodologies for data processing were developed. Helena completed a PhD in Machine Learning at UGent - VIB from April 2017 to January 2021, concentrating on applying machine learning to analyze biomedical data and understand disease mechanisms. Previous roles at CIRI (INSERM) involved automating data analysis using Matlab and R, as well as the creation of visualization tools for therapeutic target predictions. Helena holds a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Modélisation Informatique du Vivant from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, obtained in 2016 and 2014, respectively.
