Josh Nordean, M.S. LPC-MHSP has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Josh began their career working as an Athletic Director and Teacher at Evangelistic Temple School from 2007 to 2010. Josh then worked as a Behavioral Health Rehab Specialist at Daybreak Family Services from 2010 to 2011.

In 2010, Nordean joined Believers Church Tulsa as a Junior High Pastor, where they coordinated weekly services, recruited and trained volunteers, and taught on a regular basis until 2014. From 2012 to 2013, they served as a Clinical Intern at Tulsa Boys Home, gaining valuable experience in a clinical setting.

Nordean then transitioned into the mental health field, working as a Therapist at FYIS from 2013 to 2015. Josh later joined Family & Children's Services in 2015, assuming the role of Therapist (COPES), where they provided mental health crisis assessments and worked with law enforcement agencies to deescalate various mental health situations. Their tenure at Family & Children's Services lasted until 2016.

From 2016 to 2020, Nordean worked at Calo Programs, taking on various roles, including Therapist, Program Director, Director of Clinical Services, and Residential Director. Their responsibilities included providing therapeutic services, overseeing program development, and managing clinical operations.

In 2020, Nordean joined Embark at The Forge as a Clinical Director, a role they held until July 2023. Currently, they are working as the Clinical Director at Groups Recover Together, where they continue to contribute their expertise in clinical leadership.

Josh Nordean, M.S. LPC-MHSP obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Community Counseling from Oklahoma State University from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Pastoral Studies/Counseling at Oral Roberts University from 2001 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Josh Nordean also holds certifications in TCTSY- Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga from Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Brainspotting 1 from Brainspotting, as well as First-Aid from the American Red Cross.
