Thomas R. has over 15 years of work experience. Thomas began their career in 2006 as a Senior Security Engineer with NTT Com Security. In 2010, they moved to Verizon Wireless as a Senior Systems and Business Analyst. In 2013, Thomas R. co-founded ScoutSwarm and was accepted to Acceleprise Incubator in Washington D.C. In 2015, they joined GroupSense as Chief Strategy Officer. During their time with GroupSense, they facilitated the growth of the company to 20 times its initial valuation and the team grew from four to fifty FTE including an international office in Bulgaria. Thomas also personally supported the cybersecurity, fraud, and risk efforts of various organizations, oversaw the SOC 2 Type II compliance process, developed the Ransomware Readiness product, conducted market research for product overhaul, identified suspicious behavior indicative of an information operation, and created and captured processes for more sustainable and scalable services.

Thomas R. attended Central Connecticut State University from 2002 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems and Services.
