Abigail Sorensen has a diverse work experience in various outdoor and recreational roles. Their most recent position is as a Lift Operations Team Lead at Grouse Mountain, starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Adventure Leader at the same company from July to September 2021. Abigail also has experience as a Park Ranger at the District of West Vancouver from May to July 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Snow Sports Instructor at Mt Seymour from December 2020 to May 2021. Abigail has also held positions at Grouse Mountain, including Guest Service Representative from December 2018 to September 2020, and Ski Snowboard Instructor from December 2019 to March 2020. Abigail also possesses additional certifications in snowboarding and skiing, including Level 1 certifications from Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors, Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance, and NPPC/Alpine Canada.
