VP Of Culinary Operations at Grove Bay Hospitality Group

Kenny Gilbert has a diverse and extensive work experience in the culinary industry. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Grove Bay Hospitality Group as the VP of Culinary Operations, overseeing food quality control, cost management, and training across multiple restaurants. In 2013, Kenny started their own company, Beast of the Kitchen LLC, where they created their own spice blends. Kenny also owned Kenny's Chicken and Biscuits LLC in 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a consulting chef for Micfood and as an executive chef at Plainfield Country Club. Additionally, they have held roles as a chef consultant, chef de cuisine, and corporate chef at various establishments. Kenny Gilbert also participated as a cheftestant on the popular culinary competition show, Magical Elves, Inc.

Kenny Gilbert obtained an ASC in Culinary Arts from the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute from 1991 to 1992. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Euclid Sr High School from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a High School Diploma. During their high school years, Kenny focused on both Culinary Arts and Standard High School Requirements on a College Prep Level.
