Rachna Rajput

Rachna Rajput has worked as a Sr Software Developer at Grove Collaborative since November 2020. In this role, they designed and implemented warehouse fulfillment and shipping services as a Django application, as well as inventory picking and packing modules for a warehouse management system.

Prior to that, Rachna worked at Cornerstone OnDemand as a Software Engineer from December 2018 to November 2020. In this position, they designed and developed services for transitioning from a monolith to AWS microservices, established compatibility with third-party software products through API development, worked on CICD pipeline in Jenkins, and troubleshooted applications using Splunk logs for bug fixing.

Rachna was previously employed at EntroGen, Inc. as a Software Developer from December 2017 to December 2018. In this role, they worked in the R&D department to automate the interpretation of lab data and improve existing applications, developed the EntroGen Variant Analysis (EVA) application using Java and JavaFX to speed up Next Generation Sequence (NGS) data analysis, and analyzed data with large databases to obtain more detailed results about cancer.

Rachna's work experience also includes a role as a Graduate Research Programming Analyst at the Office of Institutional Research, USC from June 2016 to May 2017. In this position, they automated the data evaluation process using Python, from cleaning data from an online assessment system to SQL.

Rachna also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Zing Infotech Pvt Ltd from July 2014 to April 2015. In this internship, they designed and developed an application called Automatic Sub Generator, managed a tool to generate subtitles from audio and video files, and used JMF API to extract audio tracks for sound processing.

Rachna Rajput completed their education at two different institutions. Rachna earned their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Bhagwan Parshuram Institute Of Technology, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Rachna then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, which they attended from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their academic achievements, Rachna also obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2020.
