Shane Barry began their education in 2006 at University College Cork, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems. Shane completed this program in 2010. Following that, in 2010, they went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Food Business at the same institution, which they completed in 2012. In 2014, Shane attended UC Berkeley Extension, where they studied New Product Development for one semester. Later that year, they also enrolled in a program at UC Berkeley Extension focused on Developing Applications for the iOS (iPhone).
