Daniel Muir

Daniel Muir is a seasoned professional in supply chain management and business development, currently serving as the Founder and Principal Consultant at Supply Chain Scotland since October 2019. Muir also leads the Food and Drink Network at Great Perthshire and provides enterprise facilitation for rural microbusinesses through GrowBiz Scotland. As an External Project Supervisor and Content Creator at Edinburgh Business School, Muir supervises students in the MSc program for Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Muir has a robust background, having held significant roles at well-known organizations such as MACPHIE OF GLENBERVIE LIMITED and Highland Spring Ltd, where leadership in supply chain integration and process improvements was demonstrated. Additional experience includes directing Anne Muir Consulting Ltd, and earlier roles at Polaroid, United Distillers, and Ford Motor Company, combined with an engineering degree from the University of Strathclyde.
