Rose Tanzer

Rose Tanzer has been in the cannabis industry for over three years now. Rose started as a Sales Admin at GrowFlow, and was quickly promoted to Compliance Director at Applegate River and Zion Cannabis. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring that the company's licenses complied with state, city, and county laws. Rose also applied for and was awarded three recreational marijuana licenses from the State of Oregon. After licensure, they on-boarded all licenses to the seed-to-sale state system, Metrc, created policy and procedure handbooks, and trained over 40 employees. The most rewarding part of their job was hiring, training, and directly managing the company's cultivation staff of 25. Rose provided their team with strict guidance balanced with compassion and empathy which fulfilled their true passion in this role. Rose then left Applegate River and Zion Cannabis to become an Account Executive at Empower Oil. After a few months in this role, they became the Oregon Representative at MetaOne Labs. A few months after that, they started their own consulting company, Mama Kaiyote Consulting. Rose has now been working in the cannabis industry for over three years and shows no signs of slowing down.

Rose Tanzer graduated with their Bachelor's of Science in Legal Studies and Sustainable Agriculture from Portland State University.

Their manager is John Polaris, Sales & Marketing. They are on a team with Peter Ignacio - Sales & Marketing, Gulliver Raza - Senior Sales Executive, and Leigh Brigham - Account Manager.
