Christina Salvi

Christina Salvi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and environmental management. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor in Safety and Risk Management at GrowNYC since February 2007, Christina has also held roles such as Assistant Director for GrowNYC's Zero Waste Programs and Recycling Outreach Coordinator. Previous positions include Coordinator at Freecycle New York City (2003-2011), Sustainability Consultant at Great Forest, Inc. (2004-2007), Factory Farm Program Associate at the Global Resource Action Center for the Environment (2001-2004), Organizer at Public Citizen (1999-2000), and Field Manager at the Fund for Public Interest Research (1999). Christina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, earned in 1998.
