Andres Hernandez

Andres Hernandez has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Andres began their career in 2004 at eBusiness Office Solutions as a Programmer. Andres then joined Avantica Technologies where they worked as a Software Engineer, helping build systems for international banks. In 2007, they joined Appcoast as a Senior Software Engineer and later became a Mozilla Developer. In 2013, Andres Hernandez joined Growth Acceleration Partners as a Senior Software Engineer and eventually moved up to the role of Director of Technology in 2020. Andres'sroles at Growth Acceleration Partners involved leading technology teams and contributing to software development projects.

Andres Hernandez holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Universidad de Costa Rica UCR, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the same university from 2000 to 2003. Andres also pursued a Technical course in Web Graphic Design from Tecnológico de Costa Rica from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Andres has obtained certifications such as KCNA: Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate from The Linux Foundation in 2022, Leading Through Digital Disruption (Online) from Professional Development - Harvard Division of Continuing Education in 2021, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021. Andres has also pursued studies in Italian Studies at Dante Alighieri from 2007 to 2009, Portuguese Studies at Fundação Centro de Estudos Brasileiros from 2002 to 2004, and French Studies at Universidad de Costa Rica UCR from 2018 to 2020.
