Tom Ström

Tom Ström has an extensive work experience that spans over several years. Tom began their career at the Swedish Armed Forces as an Arctic Ranger from 2005 to 2006.

After leaving the armed forces, Tom co-founded Easypeak in 2009, a recruitment company where they handled marketing, site programming, and company organization. Within a month, the company began generating profit.

Tom then joined Constant AB in 2007 as a Search Marketing Strategist. Tom managed search campaigns for major internet-based companies in Sweden, while also assisting in new customer acquisitions and staff hiring. Tom stayed with Constant AB until 2010.

In 2010, Tom transitioned to a role at Schibsted Sverige as an Analyst. Here, they analyzed traffic flow between sites, including some of Sweden's largest sites. Tom also served as the Director of Online Sales in 2011, leading a group of representatives to optimize online sales revenue streams at the group level.

Moving forward, in 2012, Tom became a co-founder and COO of Campanja. This company focused on unlocking the true potential of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) by creating software that made intelligent business decisions in real-time. Tom's role at Campanja evolved from COO to Regional VP Sweden. The company was backed by a strong team of investors, including the founders of Google and MySQL.

Finally, in 2014, Tom founded Growth Hackers Sthlm AB. This growth agency partnered with clients to optimize the user journey and ways of working through agile, data-driven approaches. They aimed to create growth for clients by utilizing various technologies, services, and processes available in today's product and media landscape.

Tom Ström earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Economics, and Production from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 2005 and 2008. Tom continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science in Industrial Economics and Marketing from 2008 to 2010. In September 2012, Tom also obtained certification as a Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org.
