John Sweeney

John Sweeney is a seasoned professional in the construction and design industry with extensive experience in various managerial and engineering roles. Currently serving as a Senior Design Manager at Growthbuilt since February 2024, John previously held the same title at ADCO Constructions from January 2016 to January 2024. Earlier career positions include Design Manager at JJ Rhatigan & Company and Senior Project Engineer at WATPAC Construction. Additionally, John started as a Structural Design Engineer at Knight Consulting Engineers and Collen Construction, along with a role as a Site Engineer at Laing O'Rourke. John holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Structural Engineering from Technological University Dublin, completed between 2000 and 2004.
