Group Vice President, Head Of Product Development For The Industry Division At Grundfos at GRUNDFOS

Jimm Feldborg has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jimm started their career at Grundfos Management A/S in 1999, where they held various roles such as Application Engineer, Product & Application Specialist, R&D Project Manager, and R&D Manager. During this time, they worked on global product development projects, led change initiatives, and took on project manager roles for in-sourcing motors.

In 2016, Jimm joined Siemens and became the Head of Research & Development for Siemens Wind Power Service. Jimm was responsible for building an R&D organization and delivering innovation in the after-market and service area. Jimm also served as the Head of Research & Development and Product Life Cycle Management for Siemens Wind Power, overseeing both R&D and PLM functions.

In 2017, after the merger of Siemens Wind Power and Gamesa, Jimm continued as the Head of Research & Development (VP) in the Service Division at Siemens Gamesa. In this role, they were responsible for innovation, new technologies, and product life cycle management of after-market products and services.

Currently, Jimm works at GRUNDFOS as the Group Vice President and Head of Product Development for the Industry Division. Their responsibilities include leading business development and utilizing intelligent pumps and pump-systems in the Industry 4.0 environment.

Throughout their career, Jimm has demonstrated expertise in R&D, project management, innovation, and strategic planning.

Jimm Feldborg's education history includes a B.Sc.M.E degree in Mechanical design from Aarhus University (1995-1999). Prior to that, they were a Technical Student at Randers Tekniske Gymnasium (1991-1993). Jimm also attended Poul Due Jensens Academy - Internal@Grundfos Management, where they earned a Project Manager degree in Product Development (2002-2004). In terms of certifications, they obtained the MoP® Foundation certification in Management of Portfolios (2015) and completed training in PRINCE2® (2015). Jimm also received training in Pathfinder/Stifinder (2011) for sustainable success with people and IMD (2009) for driving strategic innovation. Additionally, they became a certified Lego Serious Play Process Facilitator (2007). Most importantly, they consider their role as a father to their four children as their most important degree, emphasizing being present and listening carefully in their field of study. In 2023, they attended the University of Cambridge for a course in Strategic Innovation Roadmapping.
