Strategy Director, Head of Helsinki Office at Grundlage

Sari Heinilä has extensive work experience in various leadership and strategic roles. Sari is currently the CEO of Suomen Komediateatteri, where they are responsible for providing diverse and high-quality cultural experiences through comedy and entertaining performances. Prior to that, they served as a Board Member at Suomen Komediateatteri Oy.

Before their role at Suomen Komediateatteri, Sari Heinilä worked as a Strategy Director and Head of the Helsinki Office at Grundlage. In this position, they focused on strategic branding and customer journey design for significant Finnish and global brand organizations.

Sari has also held leadership positions in the advertising industry. As the CEO of McCann Helsinki, they were recognized as a finalist for The Agency of the Year award. Sari was responsible for marketing strategies for key clients, including Nordea and Viking Line. Prior to their role at McCann Helsinki, they served as a Client Services Director and a member of the management board at hasan & partners, where they built brand and marketing strategies for various companies and brands.

Earlier in their career, Sari Heinilä worked as a Business Director and Creative HR Director at TBWA\Helsinki. Sari was responsible for optimizing creative talents' operational environment and performance and turning brand strategies into success stories for clients such as Neste Oil, Danske Bank Finland, and Housing Fair Finland.

Sari Heinilä's earlier experiences include a role as an Account Director at TEQUILA, where they managed customer relationship marketing strategies for clients such as Sanoma, Skanska, and L'Oréal.

Sari began their career as a Project Manager at Viherjuuri Dialog, one of the pioneering agencies in utilizing digital marketing strategies.

Sari Heinilä earned their MSc. degree in Marketing from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu, where they studied from 1994 to 1999.
