Roberto Lago Barciela

Roberto Lago Barciela has a diverse work experience in the field of health and safety. Roberto started their career in 2002 as a Health and Safety Technician at Mymain, where they focused on promoting prevention in the company and conducting risk assessments. In 2005, they joined SEGANOSA as the Health and Safety Responsible, overseeing the implementation of the company's safety and health plans. Roberto also played a key role in managing external training providers and analyzing training needs. In 2008, they worked as a Superior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention at Gestores de Prevención, where they developed prevention management tools and conducted training programs. More recently, in 2017, they joined Grup Montaner as the Corporate Health and Safety Director, responsible for creating and implementing a Risk Prevention Service. Roberto also developed prevention management tools and defined the company's preventive strategy.

Roberto Lago Barciela's education history includes a variety of degrees and certifications. From 1997 to 2001, they attended Universidade de Vigo. In 2001, they obtained a Técnico Intermedio en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales from Xunta de Galicia. In 2003 and 2004, they pursued a Master de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales from Universitat de Barcelona, specializing in Seguridad Laboral, Higiene Industrial, and Ergonomía y Psicosociología Aplicada. In 2007 and 2008, they completed a Diploma in Sistemas de Gestión de la Prevención de Riesgos Laborales: OHSAS 18001:2007 from CEP. In 2008, they obtained an Auditoría de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales degree from CEF. In 2015, they earned a Diploma Especialización Profesional Universitario as an Instructor in Servicios Operativos de Emergencia from the University of Valencia. Lastly, from 2015 to 2017, they completed a Posgrado Universitario en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales from Universidad CEU San Pablo.

Roberto also has several additional certifications, including being an Experto Europeo en Responsabilidad Social from Asociación Española para la Calidad, obtained in 2023. In 2014, they obtained the ASESOR en el procedimiento de reconocimiento de las competencias profesionales adquiridas a través de la experiencia laboral de las Unidades de Competencia certification from Consellería de Traballo e Benestar. In 2009, they received accreditation to provide preparación física, primeros auxilios, and protección contra incendios training in security centers from the División de Formación y Perfeccionamiento de la Dirección General de la Policía y de la Guardia Civil.
