Sérgio Monteiro has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sérgio began their career as a Software Architect at Third Consultoria from 2004 to 2007. Sérgio then founded Core Factory in 2007, where they actively participated in all projects, focusing on problem discovery and co-creating solutions with clients. Sérgio also worked as an Agile Coach and Software Architect at J&W Informática from 2007 to 2010, implementing modern solutions, agile methods, and incident management systems.
In 2010, Sérgio co-founded Yubi, a startup where they were responsible for technical and architectural decisions, as well as defining the MVP and guiding the team towards an emerging architectural strategy.
Sérgio joined Ticket in 2011 and held multiple roles, including Agile Expert, Senior IT Architecture & Quality Manager, and Senior Software Engineering Manager. In these positions, Sérgio managed development teams, optimized engineering processes, fostered an agile culture, and contributed to technology-driven business strategies.
From 2021 to 2022, Sérgio worked at labsit as a Technology Strategist, leveraging market best practices to shape the company's technology strategy and aligning it with business objectives.
From 2021 to 2023, Sergio was CTO at Easy Carros, overseeing technology strategies, product development, and managing IT teams. Additionally, they supported the restructure of the HR area.
Most recently, Sérgio joined Grupo Fleury in 2023 as their Chief Enterprise Architect. Sérgio collaborates closely with internal clients to define technological strategies and solution architectures. Sérgio'smandate includes restructuring the architecture area, establishing connections between business initiatives and innovation, and driving operational and systemic optimization.
Sérgio Monteiro completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from Ibmec in 2017-2019. Sérgio also earned a certification in Service Thinking from Hivelab in 2016 and another certification in Management 3.0 from Adaptworks in 2013. In the same year, they pursued a course in Human-Computer Interaction Design from UC San Diego. Sérgio Monteiro studied Design Thinking at ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing in 2010 and gained certification as a Certified Scrum Master in Agile Management from Adaptworks in 2007. Additionally, they received several additional certifications from institutions such as Kanban University and The Interaction Design Foundation.
