Zelma Acosta-Rubio

Zelma Acosta-Rubio currently serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer at Intercorp Financial Services since February 2022, where responsibility includes leading the sustainability strategy and ensuring its implementation across subsidiary companies. Additionally, since March 2007, Zelma has held the role of General Counsel and Secretary to the Board at Interbank, overseeing legal services and governance systems. Zelma also functions as the Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer at Intercorp since December 2018, focusing on strategies for diverse and inclusive practices. Prior experience includes work as an Associate at Clifford Chance and Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP. Zelma holds multiple advanced degrees, including an LLM in International Banking Law from Boston University School of Law and an MBA from Universidad de Piura.
