Charles Whitesell has over 20 years of work experience in the field of technology and IT. Charles started their career as a Help Desk Team Lead at Sears, Roebuck and Co., where they supervised a team of technicians and handled troubleshooting for Apple and Windows systems. Charles then worked as an IT Manager at Shu Han, Inc., managing a technology team and supporting local businesses and residential customers. Charles later joined Marana Unified School District as a Network Technician, where they provided support for 800 internal customers and administered various servers.
In 2007, Charles joined Citi as an IT Project Manager, where they managed projects and desktop support for 2500 internal customers. Charles also worked as a Loss Prevention Supervisor at Sears Holdings Corporation, mitigating financial loss and ensuring safety and security.
Charles's most recent experience includes working at Grupo México as the Director of IT Infrastructure, where they organized initiatives for technological advancements, directed communication services, and integrated wide area networks. Charles also held positions as the Director and Manager of ASARCO IT, overseeing the technology department and driving continuous improvement.
Throughout their career, Charles has demonstrated expertise in areas such as systems administration, network management, security, project management, and vendor management.
Charles Whitesell completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended Pima Community College from 2001 to 2003, studying Business Administration and Management. In 2014, Charles obtained a certification in Cisco Network Administration from Pima Community College.
