Salomón Muriel has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Salomón is currently the Data Director at R5, where they lead the creation and consolidation of the Data Team. Salomón'sresponsibilities include managing a team of 7 data scientists and actively coding.

Prior to their current role, Salomón was the Co-founder & CEO of FINCO.co, a Valuation and Decision Making service for the Real Estate Market. Under their leadership, the company expanded to 5 countries and 150 cities in Latin America, serving over 100,000 market reports based on Big Data and AI.

Salomón also has experience in the field of Data Science training. Salomón worked as the Lead Instructor for the Data Engineering course at Correlation One, where they taught over 150 American professionals. Additionally, they served as a Case Writer and Teaching Assistant for Data Science training courses.

In terms of entrepreneurship, Salomón founded and served as CEO of Beriblock, an undisclosed venture, from 2018 to 2019. Salomón also founded and served as CEO of PrestaGente, an online peer-to-peer lending company, from 2017 to 2019 before selling it to Taurus Capital.

Salomón Muriel completed their undergraduate degree in Economics, with a focus on Microeconomics and Finance, at Universidad de Los Andes from 2009 to 2013. Salomón then pursued a specialization in Project Evaluation and Development in Economics at Universidad del Rosario from 2014 to 2015.

In terms of additional certifications, Salomón graduated with honors from the DS4A / Colombia 2.0 program offered by Correlation One in August 2020. Salomón also obtained the iTEP (International Test of English Proficiency) certification from Boston Educational Services in April 2011, as well as the TOEFL certification from ETS in July 2007.
