Rita Valois

Rita Valois has extensive experience in various leadership roles. Rita currently serves as a Board Director for Wander + Ivy and Grüvi, where they provide guidance and strategic direction. Prior to this, Rita worked as a Senior Business Advisor for a confidential Private Equity firm.

Rita has also held significant positions at well-known companies. As the Head of IT - Abbott Nutrition Products Division at Abbott, they were responsible for overseeing digital and commercial solutions for multiple brands, contributing to approximately $3 billion in annual sales.

Earlier in their career, Rita demonstrated their leadership capabilities as the US Consulting Practice Leader - M&A IT at EY, where they launched and led a new M&A consulting practice. Rita also served as the Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Treasury Wine Estates, where they were accountable for all aspects of IT for the company's global operations.

Rita's experience includes roles at Foster's Group, Deloitte, Lenox Corporation, and Ernst & Young Global Consulting Services. Throughout their career, they have led transformative projects, managed large-scale consulting engagements, and successfully implemented IT strategies for clients in various industries such as consumer products, retail, and wine.

Rita Valois holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. Rita also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, specializing in Operations Management and Management Information & Decision Systems. In terms of certifications, Rita Valois is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), which they obtained in 1986 from The Ohio Society of CPAs and PA Institute of CPAs (PICPA). Rita is also Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS, although this certification is currently inactive. In regards to ongoing education, Rita Valois is currently enrolled in the Women's Leadership Foundation - Corporate Boardbound Program, which they will complete between 2021 and 2022.
