Michiru Toda

Michiru Toda serves as the Deputy Chief of the Impact Economy Lab at the Japan Social Innovation and Investment Foundation (SIIF) since April 2019, also holding titles as Impact Catalyst and Impact Officer. Additionally, Michiru leads the Secretariat for the JAPAN National Advisory Board at the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment (GSG). Previously, Michiru was an Associate Expert at the International Labour Organization, contributing technical support to the Global Commission on the Future of Work Initiative. Michiru has experience in marketing within the pharmaceutical sector at FUJIFILM Toyama Chemical Co., Ltd., and in senior consulting roles at Medical Collective Intelligence and Crimson Interactive. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Development Economics and International Development from The London School of Economics, a Bachelor with Honours in Sociology from The University of Tokyo, and participation in a research program at Tsinghua University.
