Nicholas Johnson, PhD, PE, is an experienced Environmental Engineer currently employed at GSI Environmental Inc. since January 2021. Prior to this role, Nicholas served as a Graduate Student Researcher and Teaching Assistant at UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science from March 2016 to December 2020, and held teaching assistant positions at UC Davis in both 2014 and 2013. Nicholas's research work focused on chromium removal from drinking water and the development of methods for determining nitrogen and phosphorus in aqueous samples. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering (Environmental) from UCLA, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Environmental) from UC Davis, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from UC Davis, supplemented by studies at Santa Rosa Junior College.
