Andrés Villarroel

Andrés Villarroel is a seasoned security engineer with extensive experience in network engineering and cybersecurity. Currently employed at GSP since March 2020, Andrés previously held positions as a security engineer and administrator at Digital Hands, and as a network engineer at Clarifire, where technical problem resolution and change management were key responsibilities. Prior roles include serving as a Cisco TAC engineer at Sykes Enterprises, where Andrés assisted numerous clients with complex network issues, and working as a freelance network engineer involved in innovative network design projects. Andrés began their career as a structured cable installation assistant at INFORNET and also contributed as a teacher assistant at Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Cyber Defense Operations from SANS Technology Institute, a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín, and studies at the Cisco Networking Academy.
