Laura Vieth

Laura Vieth, EdD, has a diverse work experience in various roles. Laura started their career as an English Teacher at Berlitz Deutschland GmbH from September 2010 to May 2011. Later, they worked at the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission, where they held multiple roles. From July 2011 to August 2017, Laura served as a Regulatory Specialist, managing projects related to the private higher education sector and overseeing the agency's software tool. Laura then became Deputy Director from September 2017 to June 2021, where they managed day-to-day office activities and conducted evaluations of institutional policies and programs. Lastly, they held the position of Associate Executive Director from July 2021 to July 2022. Currently, Laura is employed at Groundswell as a Product Manager since July 2022 and holds the role of Lead since June 2023.

Laura Vieth, EdD attended The University of Georgia from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Doctor of Education degree in Learning, Leadership, and Organization Development. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Teaching from Georgia State University in 2010 and a Bachelor's degree in History from The University of Georgia in 2007. Laura also briefly studied Brazilian Culture and Portuguese at Universidade Federal Fluminense in 2006 and Humanities at the University of Sussex in 2005. In addition to their academic achievements, Laura has obtained various certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and Certified Public Manager.
