George Tagg, Jr. has over a decade of experience in the public and private sector. In 2020, they founded and became President of GTC 360° Advisors, providing comprehensive business strategy & intelligence, business development, government procurement, and public affairs solutions for clients around the world. In the same year, they were appointed Senior Advisor at Hawksbill Group. In 2016, they became a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a NATO Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of State and as a Senior Advisor for Russia at the Pentagon, U.S. Department of Defense, Office of the Secretary of Defense for Policy. From 2011 to 2014, they held the roles of Special Assistant to the Deputy Secretary of State and Regional Affairs Officer at the U.S. Department of State. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Foreign Policy and National Security Legislative Assistant at the U.S. House of Representatives, Office of Congressman John Tanner. In 2018, they became Executive Vice President and Global Lead for the Government + Public Sector at Hill+Knowlton Strategies. In 2022, they were appointed Senior Commercial Advisor at TwoSmith Capital.

George Tagg, Jr. began their educational career at St Dominic School For Boys in 1996. George then attended Christian Brothers High School Memphis from 2000 to 2004. During this time, they also attended The American University of Rome in 2003, where they studied Transatlantic Relations and Italian History. In 2004, George Tagg, Jr. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science-Honors, Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a focus on Public Management, Ethnic Conflict, World History, Political Philosophy, and Italian. Afterward, they attended American University Washington College of Law from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) with a focus on International Business, Aviation Law, National Security Law, and Transnational Litigation. George then attended American University School of International Service from 2007 to 2008, where they obtained a Master's Degree in International Affairs with a focus on Defense and Intelligence Analysis, Risk Analysis, and History of Foreign Policy. George Tagg, Jr. also obtained Bar Admissions for the District of Columbia and State of Maryland.
