Adam Murl

Adam Murl, CFA has extensive experience in portfolio management and research. Adam is currently a Portfolio Manager and Vice President of Retail Research & Lead Solutions Architect at Guardian Capital Group, where they are responsible for asset allocation and designing multi-asset product strategies. Prior to that, they worked as a Portfolio Manager and Head of Research at Equium Capital Management Inc., focusing on capital preservation and delivering risk-adjusted returns for high net worth clients. Adam also co-managed a long only US Equity fund at Cumberland Private Wealth Management Inc., and managed a global long-only all-cap equity portfolio at Terrapoint Capital Management Inc. Adam has also worked at OMERS as a Principal in Equity Research, Voya Investment Management as a Senior Consumer Analyst, and the United Nations as a Security Analyst. Adam began their career as a Product Manager at Borgfeldt Importing and as an Equity Sales professional at Credit Suisse. Adam Murl, CFA has a strong educational background in finance and international finance. Adam received their Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University in 1998, with a focus on finance. Adam then pursued further education and obtained a Master of International Finance (MIA) degree from Columbia | SIPA in 2005.

In addition to their academic achievements, Adam has also obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in September 2009. This certification further demonstrates their expertise and knowledge in the field of finance.
