Nakita Schurgott

Nakita Schurgott serves as the Centre Manager at Guardian Early Learning Group since January 2017, overseeing a 140-place early learning centre in a high-rise building south of Melbourne CBD. Prior to this, Nakita held the position of Team Leader Professional Learning at Gowrie Victoria from May 2015 to January 2017, where responsibilities included developing professional development programs and providing tailored support to services. As Programs Manager at Extend After School Care from August 2014 to May 2015, Nakita managed up to 30 Out of School Hours Care Services, focusing on educator support and community relations. Earlier experience includes managing Paringa Park Primary School's OSHC from October 2012 to August 2014, involving hands-on interaction with children and parents, as well as oversight of staff and budgeting. Nakita holds a Diploma of Children's Services from TAFE SA and is currently pursuing a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment at Open Training Institute.
