Matthew Hannam

Matthew Hannam is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as a Senior Communications Manager at The Guardian since October 2018, following a progression to Communications Officer. Prior to this role, Matthew gained valuable experience at the BBC from March 2014 to September 2018, working as an Assistant Publicist in both Factual and World Service departments. Earlier in Matthew's career, a position as a PR Assistant at Mattel, Inc. from May 2013 to March 2014 provided foundational industry experience. Matthew holds a First-Class Honours degree in BA English Language & Communication from King's College London, completed in 2013.
